Question 1

What is a Software SaaS management platform?

Accepted Answer

A Software SaaS management platform is the system of record for every software subscription an organisation buys and uses. LogicHarbour discovers your applications, tracks subscriptions, licences and renewals in one inventory, analyses spend and usage, and automates the administration around provisioning, approvals and governance.

Question 2

How does LogicHarbour discover the software we are using?

Accepted Answer

The platform connects to your identity provider, finance and expense systems, and vendor APIs. From those signals it builds a deduplicated catalogue of every application in use — including shadow IT that never went through procurement — usually within days of connecting the first source.

Question 3

Will this replace our renewal tracking spreadsheet?

Accepted Answer

Yes. LogicHarbour replaces manual spreadsheets with a live renewal calendar. Every licence, contract term, notice period and renewal date is centralised, with automated alerts and assigned owners, so nothing auto-renews unnoticed. You can still export data at any time.

Question 4

How long does implementation take?

Accepted Answer

Most organisations are live within two to four weeks. Connectors are configured in hours, historical subscription and spend data is imported, and your team is trained on the platform. There is no disruption to existing systems — LogicHarbour reads from them rather than replacing them.

Question 5

What savings should we expect?

Accepted Answer

We do not promise a percentage. Savings depend entirely on your estate, and any figure LogicHarbour shows you is an estimate calculated from your own data using a transparent formula — unused seats, duplicate applications, over-sized tiers and renewals you can negotiate with usage evidence. You decide which of those opportunities to act on, and the platform tracks what you actually realise.

Question 6

Is our subscription and spend data secure?

Accepted Answer

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-based with audit logging, and each organisation's data is isolated at the database level. We never sell or share customer data. LogicHarbour is not currently SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certified — we are happy to share our security documentation and answer a security questionnaire on request.

Question 7

How does it work alongside our contract management tool?

Accepted Answer

LogicHarbour complements contract lifecycle management rather than replacing it. We focus on subscription intelligence — usage, licence optimisation and renewal timing — while your CLM handles legal terms and signature workflows. Key dates can sync between the two via API.

Question 8

Can it handle enterprise agreements and non-standard licensing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The platform supports standard SaaS subscriptions, enterprise agreements, co-termed renewals, consumption-based pricing and bespoke licensing terms, with custom fields for the commercial nuances specific to your vendor agreements.

Question 9

Who typically owns LogicHarbour inside an organisation?

Accepted Answer

Usually IT or Software SaaS management, with finance and procurement as core users. Executive dashboards give CIOs and CFOs a real-time view of spend, savings and renewal risk without needing to work inside the platform day to day.

Question 10

Do you support multi-site and multi-entity organisations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Subscriptions, spend and licences can be attributed by site, subsidiary, department or cost centre, then rolled up into a consolidated group view. Role-based access controls determine which teams see which parts of the estate.
